After integration with UASC Hapag-Lloyd India organizes first post-merger customer event in Gandhidham

To enjoy the merging of Hapag-Lloyd and UASC, Hapag-Lloyd Indian Pvt. Ltd planned a get-together for its Gujarat clients on Dec 20, 2017, at Hotel Radisson, Gandhidham. The event saw passionate participation from business pioneers, customers, clients and well-wishers in the area.

This was the first post-merger client occasion structured by Hapag-Lloyd, which was addressed by Mr Dheeraj Bhatia, Managing Director, Area India and Mr Vikyath Kumar, Sales Director, Area India.

They highlighted that Gujarat continues to be a key market for the mixed organization, which will concentrate on further improving its services in future for the benefit of the trade. They also thanked customers for their renewed trust and confidence in the company.

In early December, Hapag-Lloyd had declared the valuable completion of the incorporation of UASC into the Group. Hapag-Lloyd had along with UASC on May 24, 2017. Within these six months, the operating businesses, the IT systems, the different fleets, and the corresponding divisions and country organizations were created. With more than 12,000 workers in five sales regions and 126 countries, as well as a fleet of 215 modern containerships, Hapag-Lloyd is now the fifth-largest liner shipping company in the world with one of the newest and best fleets in the industry, as per a company communiqué.
